Summer Camp Scholarships - 209900101

Don't let camp fees be an obstacle for your family to participate in a Metroparks Summer Camp adventures. Camperships are a form of financial assistance offered to eligible Lucas County residents based on financial need. Families must have a gross annual income of $62,400 or less. Income includes: wages, salary, commission for fees, and any other cash income, self-employment, social security, public assistance, alimony, and child support payments, regular contributions from people not living in the same household and monetary compensation for services.

Camperships will provide up to 50% off the camp fees for 1 week of camp per child and up to 4 children per family.

Camperships will be awarded to qualifying applicants on a first come, first served basis. Applicants will be notified regarding their scholarship acceptance by e-mail. The parent or guardian is responsible to register participants for Metroparks Camps. Campership application and/or approval are separate from registration. Once approved, the remainder of the camp fee must be paid to complete registration. Camps that are full or cancelled may not be available regardless of Campership status. All Camperships not redeemed by June 1st, 2024 will be forfeited.
