Metroparks Overnight Experiences - 205520101

This is only for those who need to rent equipment for the following club trip. Participants also have to register separately for the actual trip. (205520101-56) This rental is only available in coordination with the club trip. Unfortunately, separate equipment rental is not available at this time.

INTRODUCING METROPARKS BACKPACKING AND CAMPING CLUB! This opportunity is only for those who have previous experience backpacking.

Backpack your way through dynamic habitats of Secor Metropark, connect to the Moseley Trail and spend the night camping at the serene Wiregrass Lake. About 6 miles total.

All three campsites are reserved at Wiregrass Lake for 9/28/24.

Participants must feel comfortable doing this trip without Metroparks staff. This is not a program and will not be staffed. Staff will meet you at the beginning of the trip and check in with you in the evening after dinner time. All youth must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Backpacks, tents, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, stoves and cook sets available to rent* for a nominal $5 fee.

*If you are renting equipment, you will need to meet our staff or volunteer at the Secor Center Parking Lot on 9/28/24 at 3PM.
