Start your new year with a moment of mindfulness. Explore the peace of the winter woods with a self-guided mindfulness walk through the beautifual Oak Openings Preserve Metropark. Hikers will follow a marked trail at their own pace, with mindfulness stops and prompts along the way to encourage nature enjoyment. This is an individual, self-guided hike with staggered start times so each small group has a more private experience on the trail. At the end of your hike stop at the Mallard Lake Adirondacks for fancy s'mores and conversation with other hikers. Register all participants ages 2+.

Dress for the weather. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Wear sturdy hiking shoes/boots.
